First cabin purification system installation on a G650 in Asia
Jet Aviation Singapore completes Asia’s first cabin purification system installation on a G650
The MRO team at Jet Aviation Singapore recently recorded a milestone achievement – the first installation of Aviation Clean Air’s (ACA) Bi-Polar ION Generator, an air and surface purification system, in a Gulfstream G650ER in Asia!
Designed to fit into any aircraft and immediately begin improving interior air quality, the patented ionization process removes volatile organic compounds, odors, pathogens and allergens in minutes.
This installation project required a modification to the aircraft's bleed / cabin air system, which the Singapore maintenance team was happy to support. The installation process then sparked collaboration between the avionics, sheet metal and structural teams, and was completed on time, with better than expected results.
“We’re grateful for this opportunity to support our customer, and achieve a new milestone for Jet Aviation Singapore”
"The installation was carried out whilst the customer's aircraft was in Singapore for a scheduled inspection. We're extremely grateful for this opportunity to support our customer's request, achieve a new milestone for Jet Aviation Singapore, and allow our maintenance team the exposure and experience of having carried out this installation," said Louis Leong, General Manager Singapore and Vice President Asia. "I would like to thank all the employees who gave there all to help us meet with this success. I am very proud of the team."
Jet Aviation is authorized by ACA, proprietary owner of the Bi-Polar ION Generator, to sell and install its unique and advanced air-sanitizing system.
