Dubai FBOs shine at 2024 Professional Pilot PRASE Survey

Jet Aviation’s FBOs in Dubai DXB and DWC take the top two spots as best Middle East & African FBOs. 

Our teams’ continued commitment to excellence has seen both Dubai FBOs recognized in the 2024 Professional Pilot’s PRASE (Preferences Regarding Aviation Services and Equipment) survey. The readers of the magazine voted Jet Aviation’s FBO at Dubai DXB to be the winner for Middle East & Africa in the Top International FBOs/Handlers category of the annual survey.

Moving up from second place in 2023, DXB scored an overall ranking of 9.33 this year, with our DWC FBO being a close second with an overall ranking of 9.00.

The survey results are based on operators’ experiences during the past year. The 707 participants ranked FBOs by categories such as line and customer services, facility, amenities, promptness and efficiency, and value for price.

Jet Aviation entered the Middle East in 1979 with an FBO in Jeddah. Since then, our presence in the region has grown to include FBOs in Riyadh and Medina, Saudi Arabia, MRO and FBO facilities in Dubai DXB in 2005, and further line maintenance and FBO service at Dubai DWC in 2017.

“Our Executive Terminals at DXB and DWC offer seamless domestic and international handling, with everything customers and crews need under one roof, including executive and crew lounges, conference rooms, weather and flight planning facilities and a duty-free shop,” explains Philippe Gerard, Director FBO Operations Dubai.

“To ensure an effortless experience when travelling through our facility, we offer transportation services for passengers and crews, a hotel coordination service, immigration and customs on our premises, catering coordination and rental cars on request,” he adds.

Customers’ aircraft are in good hands as well: Our DXB FBO offers complete line services, including line and base maintenance, aircraft exterior and interior cleaning and coordination of aircraft refueling, including with Sustainable Aviation Fuel through our global Book & Claim service.

In addition to our FBO and flight planning services, Jet Aviation’s facility at DXB also offers comprehensive maintenance, from heavy base maintenance to refurbishment or system upgrades, in addition to aircraft management services and AOG support. Our Dubai DWC FBO offers services and line maintenance on the same wide range of aircraft types and national CAA approvals.
