Jet Aviation Receives FOCA Approval for Line Maintenance in Zurich
ZURICH / March 24, 2023 — Jet Aviation announced today that it has successfully obtained approval from the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA) for its Line Maintenance Repair Station in Zurich. The facility is authorized to perform line maintenance on a range of business aircraft.
Jet Aviation launched line maintenance in Zurich in May 2022, under a temporary extension of the company’s Basel site authorizations. Following a succesful audit by FOCA in early 2023, the facility is now fully approved for line maintenance on a range of business jets.
“We are delighted to add Zurich to our European maintenance network on an ongoing basis,” says Cyril Martiniere, Jet Aviation’s VP MRO Services Europe & GM Basel. “Zurich is a key hub for our customers and providing permanent line maintenance on-site was a natural next step in our commitment to an effortless maintenance experience in Europe and beyond.”
“The station has been very well received by our customers, who appreciate the opportunity for line maintenance on-site,” says Stefan Verkaik, director of Aftermarket Services & AOG. “The audit was a fantastic opportunity to continue strengthening this service in Zurich, and ensure efficient, safe and seamless on-site line maintenance for customers visiting our facility.”
